The St. Gallen site has evolved into a hub of creativity, innovation, and tradition. Here, around 200 employees combine artistic vision with cutting-edge technology to craft both textile masterpieces for the world’s catwalks and high-tech solutions. New ideas take shape and are tested in the state-of-the-art Innovation and Sample Center, where employees can also draw inspiration from the extensive archives of Forster Rohner and Jakob Schlaepfer.
Industrial-scale embroidery and textile production, however, primarily take place in the company’s own, fully owned factories in China, Romania, and Bosnia. This global production network not only ensures a strong local presence but also enables the Group to offer competitive large-scale manufacturing for the international market.

The Romanian subsidiary Inter-Spitzen Srl. produces on behalf of the whole group. A big plus of the production in Romania is the dyeing plant integrated in the embroidery production which enables a high degree of flexibility and a wide range of products.
