Embroidery, Fashion, High-Tech: Inspiration Day at the Newly Renovated Creative House

In March – What does Princess Diana’s dress, a Victoria’s Secret bra, and a high-tech drone have in common? They’re all made with St. Gallen embroidery! How is that possible? Forster Rohner, Jakob Schlaepfer, Inter-Spitzen, and Biontec will demonstrate exactly that on May 4, 2024, at the newly renovated Creative House of the Forster Group.

In the eastern part of St. Gallen, a creative hub has emerged over the past few years. The renovation of the Creative House at Flurhofstrasse 150 is now complete, marking a significant transformation. Here, around 200 employees channel their creativity and utilize cutting-edge technologies to bring textile dreams to life for the next Fashion Week in Paris or Milan, while also developing high-tech products.

Stitching into the Future

“Today, the environment surrounding the St. Gallen embroidery tradition is incredibly diverse, exciting, and challenging,” says Emanuel Forster, CEO of Forster Rohner AG. “With the renovation of our St. Gallen site, we’ve created the necessary space to address these new opportunities and needs in a modern way,” Forster continues. Sustainable investments in an innovative machinery park and bright, open office spaces demonstrate a clear commitment to both the location and the industry.
