Great Interest in the World of Embroidery: The Forster Group Inspiration Day Concludes with Positive Feedback
In May – With over 1,200 free tickets booked, last Saturday’s Inspiration Day, hosted by Forster Rohner, Jakob Schlaepfer, Inter-Spitzen, FRTI, and Biontec, attracted a large and enthusiastic audience. Textile enthusiasts from across Switzerland, along with family members and friends of the staff, flocked to the freshly renovated Creative House to gain an insider's view of the Forster Group’s work and experience the diversity of embroidery up close.
To ensure smooth organization and minimize waiting times, pre-registration was required. "Two weeks after offering the free tickets, we were already fully booked and had to create a waiting list," says Emanuel Forster, CEO of Forster Rohner AG. Thanks to some restructuring of the event, additional spots were made available. "In the end, we successfully conducted 78 guided tours and presentations last Saturday, which was an outstanding achievement by our team," Forster added.
Embroidery Draws the Crowds
The well-attended event ran from 9 AM to 4 PM, featuring primarily guided tours and presentations. Visitors at Biontec were particularly impressed by a high-tech drone made from carbon "stitched" material. Jakob Schlaepfer offered an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of its atelier and the glamorous world of fashion. Forster Willi captivated guests with rare insights into its archive and embroidery techniques, while FRTI showcased the future of embroidery with electronic and functional textiles. Meanwhile, Inter-Spitzen and Forster Rohner Lingerie invited attendees into the global world of lingerie production.

The dedication of the staff was rewarded with a wealth of positive feedback. "The recognition and appreciation we received that day motivates us immensely. It makes us realize once again that we are lucky to work in such a fascinating world," emphasizes Elisheva Senn, Creative Director of Forster Willi and Forster Rohner Lingerie.
